Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of hosting, domain and related services supplied by A1Hosting. By ordering a service you accept them.

1. Your account

You must give accurate contact details and keep them current. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including the actions of anyone you give access to. Keep your password confidential and tell us at once if you believe it has been compromised.

2. Fees and billing

Services are billed in advance for the term you select. Invoices are due by the date shown on them. We may suspend a service that remains unpaid after its due date, and terminate it if it stays unpaid for 30 days. Prices exclude GST unless stated; GST is added where applicable.

3. Renewals

Services renew for the same term unless you cancel before the renewal date. Domain renewals are subject to registry pricing, which can change.

4. Money-back guarantee

New shared, WordPress and reseller hosting accounts may be cancelled within 30 days of activation for a full refund of the hosting fee. Domain registration fees, setup fees and dedicated or VPS server fees are not refundable, because those costs are incurred on your behalf immediately.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use our services to send unsolicited bulk email, host malware or phishing content, infringe copyright, publish content that is unlawful in India, or run activity that degrades service for other customers. See our Acceptable Usage Policy for detail. We may suspend a service immediately where continued operation would harm our network or expose us to legal liability.

6. Backups

We take daily backups as a courtesy and retain them for the period stated in your plan. They are for our disaster recovery, not a substitute for your own. You remain responsible for keeping your own copies of your data.

7. Availability

We target 99.9% network availability per calendar month, excluding announced maintenance. Where we fall short you may request a pro-rata credit for the affected period.

8. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the affected service in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for lost profit, lost data or indirect loss.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate with notice. On termination we may delete your data after 14 days, so take a copy first.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction.
