Acceptable Usage Policy
What you may and may not run on our network

This policy exists so that one customer cannot spoil the service for everyone else, and so that our network is not used to harm others. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Prohibited content
- Malware, viruses, exploit kits, or anything designed to compromise other systems.
- Phishing pages, or sites impersonating a bank, government body or any other organisation.
- Material that infringes copyright or trademark, including unlicensed film, music or software distribution.
- Content that is unlawful under Indian law, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities.
- Open proxies, open mail relays, and public file-drop scripts.
Sending unsolicited bulk email from our network is prohibited, whether the list was bought, scraped or "opted in" elsewhere. Mailing lists must be confirmed opt-in and must honour unsubscribe requests. Shared hosting accounts are limited to a reasonable hourly send rate; ask us before running a large campaign.
Resource use
Shared hosting is shared. Scripts that consume disproportionate CPU, memory, database connections or I/O may be throttled or suspended. Common causes are un-cached WordPress installations, runaway cron jobs and unindexed database queries — we will always tell you what we found and help you fix it. Persistent heavy use means you need a VPS, and we will help you migrate.
Backups and storage
Hosting space is for the files that serve your website and email. It is not a general-purpose backup or media archive. Please do not store unrelated archives, video libraries or other customers' backups on a hosting account.
Security responsibilities
Keep your applications, themes and plugins updated. An out-of-date CMS is the most common cause of a compromised account. We may take a compromised site offline to protect other customers and will restore it with you as soon as it is clean.
Enforcement
Where we can, we contact you first and give you time to fix the problem. Where the activity is causing active harm — an outbound spam run, a live phishing page, a resource spike taking down a server — we act first and explain immediately afterwards.
Reporting abuse
If you believe something hosted with us breaches this policy, email our support address with the URL and a description. We investigate every report.
